A Forgotten Project!

So while I was sorting out files on my laptop this arvy, I discovered this photo I'd taken a while back and had never posted, and thought since we're on the birthday party band wagon right now, it would be a rather appropriate time to put it up! lol

This was one of the projects my Stamp Club Girls got to make a couple of months ago and they are sooooooo cute! This little party hat favour box stands just under 5" high when its done! It's such an easy project to do, cause you print the template directly onto your cardstock, cut it out, stamp it up, assemble it and your done! Heck, how cute would these be done up as santa hats on your Chrissie table??

You can get yourself a template for them right here! They are an absolute bargain at $1.99! Be sure to check out the other template's available too cause there's some real beauties!

Big Shot Party Favours!

Well, well, well, - 2 posts in 2 days..........I must check I don't have a fever or something! lol

In light of it being Brock's birthday tomorrow, I thought I'd show you just a couple of the party favour bags I made! He isn't having a party as such, we're just spending the day with my cousins and their kids, so I thought I'd make them all a little goodies bag each!

I've used the absolutely gorgeous Fancy Favour Box Sizzix Die - this one is just the most versatile bag and it holds a HEAP of stuff!

Your probably like me and have a pile of retired papers lying around, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use some of them up! You get 2 boxes from a 12 x 12 piece of DSP!

As you can see I kept them very simple, because in reality they're just going to end up in the bin! Ohhhh well, to kids it's not about the packaging is it.........it's what's inside! lol

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Fun With My Big Shot!

Well hey there again! Thought I'd 'pop up' here and show you the card I finished about 10 minutes ago! Believe me when I say this was the hardest card I've ever had to photograph - it seemed like I didn't have enough hands or something! lol

Anyways, Monday is my boy Brock's 9th birthday and I thought I'd better get my bum into gear and make him a card! After procrastinating for at least 4 days over it, I finally got it finished. I decided to go very simple with this one, and use up some scraps I had lying around!

So this is the front!

And this is the inside when he opens it! Cool or what? lol This is the super cool Pop Up Cake Die by Sizzix!

You can probably see why it was so hard to photograph now - had to hold my camera in one hand, keep the card open with my other hand, all while trying to keep the camera steady!!

I used all his favourite colours in the card, but I'm sure he won't even notice and be more interested in making the cake pop up and down! lol

Hope you like it, cause it was heaps of fun to do!

ISO Sizzix 'Parchment Die!

Bet you all thought I'd fallen of the face of the earth huh? lol Well, fortunately I'm still around and I have to say........very much enjoying doing absolutely no stamping whatsoever! Keesh asked me a week or so ago if I still remember how to do it! Cheeky girl she is! lol

I have to say, it's been so refreshing to not be on the computer so much or planning and prepping for workshops! While I absolutely love my papercraft, I never thought in a million years I'd enjoy time away from it like I am - it's been really good for me, but maybe not so good for all my followers! lol Hopefully one day I'll be back, and churning out those cards like there's no tomorrow!
I think you'd all be very proud of my workspace though if you saw it........man, it's as clean as a whistle and everything has it's place! I might not remember where things are, BUT that's ok, I'll find em' eventually! Do you ever do that? Clean things up good and proper and then wonder where the heck you've put something?lol

Anyhoooooo, I'm actually on a bit of a hunt for a sizzix die at the moment, and I'm hoping someone might read my post and have one they want to sell! It's the 'Parchement' die I'm chasin', and I believe it's been discontinued for some time! (always the way when Karen wants something! lol)

If you can help put an end to my wild goose chase, please email me!
