Just Add Ink #36

Well hello again!

Two posts in two days...........not bad! lol

I've just finished the sketch challenge over at Just Add Ink so I thought I'd quickly pop in here and show you!  I had a heck of a time with this challenge, but yet it's so simple - go figure!

Ok, so here's the sketch for this week!

Since you all know I have 'issues' with making cards in a landscape orientation, I flipped it and came up with this little creation!

I chose the DSP first which is probably where I went wrong.  I really love it and was desperate to work with it, but maybe I should have chosen something else to make it easier on myself! lol

When it came time to thinking about the 2 little bits I needed to add which represented where the butterflies are on the sketch, I had absolutely no idea what to add!
I sat and I thought........and I thought while I sat, until I finally figured out I needed to focus on circles, since there's heaps of them  on the DSP!  Once I had that sorted, things seemed to fall into place nicely!

That's my entry for this week.  I'll pop on over and enter it now and then get started on our meatloaf for dinner!

This is a great little card - you didn't really sit for that long did you? Not you, no way!

That's the type of bow I wanted on my JAI Sketch ha ha, but no gorgeous satin black so will have to try that another time.

I love your card, CAS, just perfect!

Hi Karen! You do 'simple' so well! I love that paper, and the idea of taking your embellies from it :) I adore your work KT! (hey, wouldn't it be awesome if your name were actually Katie, with those initials)..
