Maddy is going to a friends birthday party on the weekend and she asked me to make her a card. Actually, she asked me weeks ago to do it, but I put it in the too hard basket for another day and then I realised Saturday was almost on my doorstep (which is the day of the party) so I promptly whipped something up! I did have strict instructions to not make it too girly, so this is what I came up with!
I was really happy with how it turned out and today I plan on making a matching tag to hang from her gift!
On a more exciting note, I want to show you our new baby which we'll be getting in just a few weeks time!
This is 'Teddy' and he's a purebred Ragdoll Kitten! I've wanted one forever and a day and I found a breeder here in Mackay who happened to have one Seal Point boy in her newest litter! He is just the sweetest little thing........ so full of cheekiness as kittens always are!
We're actually going out to visit him today which is really exciting and then it'll only be 2 weeks till I can bring him home! Can't wait!

OMG!!! Teddy is sooo cute!!! I have a female Ragdoll named Merengue. She is so sweet, lovable, she loves to "kiss" us and always step in the bathtub when we are taking a shower LOL! I just remembered the day she came into our home. She was so little... and cute!!! I love that breed of cats, I'm sure you will enjoy him.

ooohhhh Dot he is rather cute, but my baby boy is much cuter....hehe! Love the not so girly card, and the greeting works great for that age too! I too am in the card making slump, and have a stack to make, hopefully i will get the urge sometime soon! Hugs, KK x

Hi Karen - Nice card :) but LOVE the Kitty!!!! I have always wanted a seal point ragdoll cat!!!! - My last kitty was supposed to be a ragdoll cross and didn't look anything like one LOL but had the most beautiful nature!! But he got killed just after Easter

The card does fit the 'brief' well LOL, don't you love those number dies??? I had a little box of new PTI goodies arrive yesterday (did you see their new 'onesie' die?) and am looking fwd to a play (which is good as i have about 7 July b'day cards to make aargh).
