Today there are lots of fun challenges taking place over at Nichole Heady's blog. It's Papertrey Ink's annual Stamp-a-faire event, but this year it's FREE, and anyone from all over the world can play along and enter their challenges.
I haven't played along with any challenges for I don't know how long, so I thought today I'd join in and have a bit of fun! The challenges stay open for a fair while, so don't panic! Just plod along and tackle whatever tickles your fancy!
The first challenge I did was the Tie Die Technique using shaving cream to make a pretty piece of background paper! If you're not sure how to do this, be sure to watch the video Nichole has put up and it will take you through step my step! Its EASY and really fun!
This is my card that I completed for the challenge!
I made my tie die background piece of paper and then cut it down to a smaller square. Then, I just added some flowers, leaves, a piece of ribbon and a little detailed border piece and it was done.
A pretty simple little card over all I think, but I was quite happy with it. Now, I'm off to tackle another challenge. Nichole has put a few up since I last looked!:)

pretty!!!
There is nothing simple about this card Karen, it's gorgeous! I love the colours you used in your tie-dye piece. I am off to buy some more shaving cream so I can have a play with this technique :)
Wowsers you are on fire my girl. This is something different but I love it. Colour combo is lovely too.
I love your card - colours are great.
