I've had the loveliest time today just sitting at my craft desk making a couple of cards to have on hand. My supply of cards has pretty much dwindled away to nothing, so I'm trying to get a little stash made so I'm never caught short!
Today I decided to make 2 cards......both the same....just different colour schemes. This tactic worked really well and I was so pleased with how they turned out.
What do you think?
All I did was pleat some DSP for the bottom part of the card. Then I secured some ribbon over the top of that, cut myself some die cuts for the flowers to be secured to, then I stamped a little flourish in the top corner and I was pretty well finished!
I always love the effect of creating one card and then making a couple more in a different colour scheme. I was so tempted to make another, but I must have my daily lunch date with Dr Phil, so time was running out! lol

I LOVE the pleats, Karen! They add nice interest and texture to the card. Great design and pretty flowers. Love his and her card concept too.
The pleated paper looks fabulous! I'm not confident that if I tried that, it'd look very nice! Love how different the cards look, just by using different colours. They are gorgeous, Karen.

I love these cards Karen! Are the flowers cut from DSP? they seem to have a slight pattern or something on them. The spotted brads in the centres look adorable and I am also a fan of the pleats :) So happy to see you creating and blogging again :)
