Still Here............

Hi All,

Sorry for my lack of postings, things have been crazy busy - lots going on and not enough hours for me to sit at my craft desk by the time I do all the other day to day stuff!

With Christmas sneaking up on us, I have managed to snag myself a Christmas casual position in a retail store which I'm really looking forward to.  I'm contracted for 4 months, but it looks pretty promising that I will stay on after that!  Retail is my background, so I'm very familiar with all it requires, but it will mean I won't be crafting all that much - I simply won't have the time spare to sit and spend 5 hours on 1 card! ha ha!
I really must learn how to make a card in 10 minutes sometime soon........then maybe I can keep the ol' blog alive and buzzin'!

On another note, one crafty thing I am looking at purchasing soon is a Silhouette Cameo machine.  I thought it might be fun to be able to cut cute shapes and things for my cards (when I eventually get time to play again) and not have to buy dies and things.  If you have a Cameo, I'd love to hear what you think about it - good or bad!

And lastly, Maddy and I are heading to Brisbane for a girly weekend at the end of next month to see Delta Goodrem in concert.  I've taken her to see her other 2 concerts and she is brilliant, so we just had to do this one too!  She's madly saving all her money so she can have a nice spending spree while we're down there.  It'll be so lovely to spend a nice weekend with her doing fun girly stuff - I'm really looking forward to it:)
